I'm doing my first ever gun show this weekend.

I'm taking my grips, some pistol stands some reloaded ammo and some other trinkets to pedal .

I plan to be a regular at the two local shows and ad new things every month.

If I break even this weekend, I'll consider it a success.

Thankls, LT

I'll be in Niles Ohio at the Expo center this weekend.
Then at the Summit county fair grounds in May.

both places are centrally located to me.
One is 25 miles east, the other 25 miles west.
I frequent both shows often.

I'm really not at all that prepared for this show.
It was a spur of the moment decision I made while browsing the show last weekend..
I have some ideas I'm moving on now for the next show, but I'll be hard pressed to fill a table this weekend.

As mentioned, if I just break even this weekend, I'll consider it a success.

thanks fellas

I did much better than i ever expected

Saturday was a great day and today (Sunday) was fair.

I only sold 3 sets of grips, (got a $110 for one set..WOOOHOOO)
but I made the lion's share of dough off ammo

I couldn't believe what some folks were paying for reloads .
I looked around and saw what everyone else was charging for reloads and then didn't feel so guilty about my prices....

Now the search for small pistol primers.
9mm and 380 were the hot sellers.
They out sold 45 auto 3 to 1.

Figures, cause I have about 8800 lg pistol primers on hand, but only about 3300 sm pistol.
380 is drawing the "gouge 'em" prices, so I'll load 75% of that cal for the next show

Boy I am glad I load 380 for the ladies. I could not afford to keep them in ammo if there was any here.
And there just isn/t any on the shelves anywhere.:hairpull:

Cap,
I like the grips you make and I think what you need is a website with photos and a shopping cart. The overhead would be lower in the end and it would give you some reach. It would not be as fun as going to gun shows though.
