Sales?
Why is this gun discontinued?
Do you guy know why the Kimber Pro Carry Ten 2 is discontinued? My dad has this exact same gun, and I would like to buy it but Kimber doesn't make it anymore. Do you guys know why?

Once sales drop, Kimber changes it to something "new and improved". Like all gun manufacturers do.
Fifteen years ago, they used plastic parts, and their answer to the crack over the slide stop was to simply cut that part of frame away. No frame, no crack. Ever.
I didn't like the first Kimber I picked up, and I haven't seen anything to change my mind.
