Why its right here in my Hot little hands.

I Ordered a Sharkskin for a 1911 5" with 1.5 belt slots Left Handed on the 1-4-2008 and got it 1-9-2008 excellent turn around time esp for a lefty..

One thing you will notice is it is thick and i mean thick Which is Good once you pull it tight to the belt no wobble no flex .. very Nice for a OWB.. I did have to wax paper the Gun for a few days so i used one of my les baers now it draws smooth as can be ..

Well enough of the Babble lets see some Pics

Sometimes if the holster's a little too snug, you wrap the pistol in wax paper and ram it in there for about 24 hours or so. It helps to stretch the leather just a hair.

Bud, what do mean by "wax paper" the gun for a few days?

Thanks

..L.T.A.

Zero got it ya wrap it in wax paper wax side out and holster the gun and it will stretch a little and also the wax transfers off the paper so it makes it easier to draw when trying to break it in

Rocking W

Just received mine today, have to say very nice.
As you said it is a little tight, I have mine wrapped in some saran wrap. (Wife’s out of wax paper)

I think I will get one in a commander size also.

Thanks for the heads up.:wavey:

I LOVE Sharkskin. That is one great looking holster. The thick skin makes it look even better.
