I am interested in hearing from veterans from any and all branches of service and conflicts. I am a Vietnam vet who served with the First Cav (1969) and MACV (1970).

I'm a veteran of four years with the Air Force from 1966 to 1970, and spent my vacation in SEA from Aug. 67 to Aug. 68.
I was stationed at Son Tra (Monkey Mountain) as a member of the 620th. Tactical Control Squadron (TACC/NS "MOTEL"). We were responsible for the command and control of the air war over the North. I was a Crypto specialist.

I was in the Navy from '69 - '75. Got out and after a while went to work for the Veterans Administration. Ended up managing the computer system for a VA in Florida. Retired last March with 35 years service.

Glad to be in this forum, especially with other vets. Me and a fre of the other guys are back in Iraq for our second tours, this is my third trip to the middle east. 10 years in the Army, most of it overseas.

I just had one tour in Nam, but my dad spent 3 1/2 years in the South Pacific with the 1st. and 3rd. Marines. It took 2 different kinds of Malaria to bring him home. That's a man in my book.
