Thinking of ordering a Classic Custom

I'm thinking of ordering a Brown Classic Custom. They look amazing. The only Ed Brown I have is the Kobra Carry and I'd like to add the flagship to my collection. I'd go for the full stainless or two tone, I can't decide which.

Does anybody have one or have an opinion on them?

I don't have any Ed Browns but they are high up on my list of wants for sure..
I love my Ed Brown Executive Target, and I would expect the Classic Custom would be a little better than my ET. The accuracy is equal to my Les Baers and Wilson. My personal preference is a blued slide over a stainless frame. All blue would be my second choice.
I have the Executive Target

It's pretty heavily modified for Bullseye competition (Kart non-ramped barrel, Randal Fung grips, Dot scope, full accuracy and trigger job) but it started off as a fine weapon that's pretty similar to the Classic Custom. Were I to buy another 1911 that was not for competition, the Classic just might be it. About the only thing I would expect to need is a trigger job. Ed Brown triggers are fine and better than most factory jobs but nothing compares to the pull of a perfectly set up trigger. Browns have the best look going in my opinion and shoot tight right out of the box. A very good gun.
Classic Custom is a great gun and on my wish list for sure, I too have an Executive Target which is almost the same gun minus the high polish slide and 2 pc. guide rod. I had a trigger job done to my ET and it is a tac driver and almost as good as my Baers at 50 yards. Get the CC if you can Ed Brown makes excellent 1911's the only thing I did not like on my ET was the trigger.
I like this CC

I've long coveted the Executive Elite, but his tribute gun to Col. Cooper is pretty sweet as well.

In addition to the polished slide and 2 pc guide rod, the Classic Custom also has the checkered top of slide, rear of slide, and the oversized mag release button. All of which I really like.
I loved my KC so much I ordered a 5" Kobra to keep it company.
The Classic Custom is my dream pistol. For me, all blued and stock, the way Ed builds it. I just keep getting side-tracked or I would have one by now. 2 tones sure are growing on me though.... looks like I have a little more time to decide...

Good luck~
You cant go wrong with an Ed Brown!
I have seen two in person, one 2 tone, and one in stainless, tough decision, I would love to own one of each someday, By the way George Talia, www.migunslingers.com is now a Master Dealer for Ed Brown and has the best prices that I could find.
