I just recieved my Fusion Firearms Hunter Traditional-XL Longslide 10mm and am already getting a quote on a second pistol.

I want a Commander bobtail frame with a short officer slide in 10mm/.40. Has anyone had a pistol built with this setup in 10mm?

Hmmmm, Interesting to see if can be done. I have not heard to this configuration before. Now the opposite, an officer frame with a commander slide would be a CCO

Colt made some Defender Plus models that had a officer slide and a commander frame. They were .45acp and did not have the bobtail.

Yes and they also had a model before also. I think it was called a tank officers?

A pistol like this would be easier to draw from a seated or confined position and you dont give up capacity with the commander bobtail frame. An officer slide/barrel should give me .40 S&W full size pistol ballistics out of short barrel. Thats why I want the 10mm officer /commander hybrid.
