I have been looking for a customized Colt to add to the collection and was able to setup a trade that landed this. Picked it up last Friday but haven't taken it to the range yet. It is a Colt Commander that was hard chromed and had the Yost Best Grade Conversion Colt Fighting Gun Package

One part piece of artwork, one part pure fighting machine :biggrin:

Fit and finish is superb and there is just something about picking up Colt that has been worked on.

A quick field strip and cleaning showed this to be a serious 1911. It is tight in the right places but not overly tight like my Baers (one in particular).
