Remember the first time you took your 1911 completely apart?
Remember trying to put it back together?:plugears:
Remember how good you felt when the darn thing worked like it was supposed to?:dancingbananna:

Now you can do it in your sleep, right?

Two years ago I got a 1 AM phone call from a buddy across town. He had disassembled his Kimber and could not get the mainspring housing back together. He was close to tears! He said he started the cleaning at 7PM and had been trying to re-assemble since 8:30!:eek:ops

After a few chuckles, I talked him through it and then we had a good laugh.
I bought him Kuhnhausen's 2 books last Christmas!;)

Trader you need to send him the links I posted and make him remember lol.
As long as he ties up the grip saftey first, the mainhousing will slip right in. I beat you had a good laugh at that one!
