Q. Will the recent California Microstamping Bill affect California specific products?
A. UPDATE We will be suspending all shipments of guns to California effective October 13, 2007. This includes everyone from civilians to Law Enforcement.

The bad thing is that they probably had very little in the way of leo sales in ca. I still applaud them on it though.

If the rest of the manufacturers will follow suit it wont take long for the powers that be to stand up and take notice.

Exactly. I haven't researched this but from what I understand Ronnie Barrett has said he will not sell his 50 caliber to leo in CA and I read that he cut off a supplier that did. I also understand he voided the warranty on the ones the leo's already had and will not work on them. He said if they are illegal there he will not ship them to anybody, including leo.

I applaud them also and like Red said, I really some of the bigger players like Glock, Colt, Sig, Springfield, etc... would follow suit.

Yep, you are correct, matter of fact, he has one of LAPD's 50's in his shop, they sent it to him for repair, and then the law got passed. He refused to fix it, and told LAPD that if they wanted it, they would come pick it up, since 50's are now illegal in california

Ronnie Barrett should be giving a handshake and other manufacturers should back him up 100%

If law enforcement isn't targeted by the various manufacturers no change will occur, and the regular Joe will be the only one to suffer.
