I bought myself a Springfield Armory 1911 9mm about six months ago, a "Loaded" model. To be honest the Springfield wasn't my first choice. I wanted to go with another Wilson gun, but I decided to go the cheaper route this time. Well,,,,, I haven't been please with the gun since day one. Today I sent the Springfield to Wilson Combat for a makeover.
New sights, new finish, new wood, new mag well, frame to slide fit work, internal work, mags, etc, etc, etc. The Springfield is a good gun, but after you've had Wilson Combat:notworthy: or Les Baer:nuts:, you want more than good. If my daughter will hold my hand and walk me through it I will post a picture when it comes back from surgery (6-8 weeks:bawling
