Puting a .22 conversion kit on your 1911 and shooting steel targets. I've got 6 knock-over round 5in steel targets and 6 small knock-over poppers and you talk'n 'bout some fun!!! I use about 2ft section of rebar and top it with those flat plastic protectors you see on construction sites; targets sit well on them, and belive it or not, those plastic protectors can take many, many, rounds and don't crack. You need to try it. :gun;

I have one of the early Kimber conversions which I believe was being made by Ceirner. It functions very well; occassionly it may fail to cycle new round
when it is very dirty, but otherwise, accurate and fun!!
P.S. Snagglepuss, I purchased those rebar protectors :noworries:
