After the 1911, my next largest addiction are Colt revolvers, mainly the Python.

Here are my Diamondback, King Cobra, and five Pythons. I'm still looking to get an Anaconda and a 2.5" Python to round out my collection. Also, a 4" Python Elite would be nice as well.

Do any other 1911 fans also love these revolvers?

That's a heck of a collection. I've got one,an older 4" that I had re-blued by APW(Cogan). It was a duty weapon that the local shop got in,and I picked it up for $450. :D Too bad it didn't come with the original grips. :(

Bac1023, that is a fantastic collection! I had dreams of collecting all the snakes, but ended up with only one.

Here's my Anaconda, from the Colt Custom Shop. It's MagnaPorted, and "accurized" (whatever that is).

Finest group of wheel guns I've seen in quite a while.
Makes me long for that Python I sold in the '70s.:frown:

The 6" that is second from the right, and the 4" on the far left have had action jobs by Reeves Jungkind, the former Texas DPS weapons instructor and only living member of the Texas Rangers Hall of Fame.
The silver one in the middle is the Ares Python, totally reworked by Cylinder and Slide and finished in Robar NP3 with custom fitted grips by Hogue.
They are fine, fine pistols - the whole bunch - and I am mighty proud to have them. Thank you.

Never been much of a wheel gun man, But I can really appreciate those. Other than my 22's, the only wheel gun in the house is our Ruger Security Six. Got married in Mar '99 (on a Sat) and went to the gunshow on Sun. Saw it and talked it over. Went to the gunstore on Wed and bought it as a wedding present to each other. How's that for a gunhistory.
