Does anyone know what was the smallest caliber Colt ever made a 1911 type pistol in? I know there is a 9mm, and I believe a .380. Did they ever make a .32 (7.65mm) or a .22?
The Colt ACE pistols were .22 calibre. I believe they were both pre and post war models.
Anything else like .25 .32 you'd have to look at the pocket (hammerless model) 1903 or the model 1908 pistols. I don't believe the 1911 was available in these calibers.
