If you only had the money to get a silencer for your 1911 or M4 which would you get and why? The 1911 of course is the primary HD weapon.

If you ever have to use your primary HD in the house without hearing protection, you'll probably be bleeding from the ears. I'd get a suppressor for that.

I say 1911 as there will probably be a greater chance of using that indoors since it's the primary HD. I don't see any point in having a silencer for something shot outdoors.

For threaded bbls, my first choice is Storm Lake Machine Co. I don't see a threaded bbl listed, but I'd call anyway...
