I don`t know if they have any real value or not, but you never know. It seems as though people are always looking for something intrinsic. Heck, if you`ve got an e-bay account, put them up and see what happens.
I'm not that old...but I can remember when sears sold guns in their mail order catalog. Also remember Monkey Wards selling guns and ammo. Brendle's was another department store that had a really good selection of firearms...those were the days.
