Here's my 1941 Swiss K-31 with walnut stock.
These things are well known for their accuracy, so I though I would put a scope on it without making any permanent alterations to the gun.

To mount the scope, I used a clamp-on Swiss mount from Graffs & Sons. I used Millet steel ring, medium height for scope clearance.
The scope is a Tasco 6-24x40.
I used a slip-on Shooterpad recoil pad from Yakpads.
I haven't had much time to really zero it in at a long range, but I have it keeping about a 2 1/2 in group at 100 yards. It wold probably do better if I could hold it more steady.

Keep us posted on how you like that mount.
I have a K31 and while I like the rifle, my eyes don't get along with the sights. I'll have to do something sometime.

The Swiss bolt on mounts have a very good reputation, and it came very highly recommended to me. I have moved the scope forward just a bit, and I have moved the front rings toward the forward end of the mount so that they butt up against the ring stop.
