Bad news,fellas. Long story short,I got white paint on the frame of my Kimber TLE. I tried to clean it,and...well,things did not end well.:hairpull:

The good news is,it's a stainless frame with the black oxide coating. What's the best way to strip the frame? Sandblasting? If I can strip the frame easy enough then I'll just go with a two-tone TLE.

sandblasting works well use glass for a lite matte finish and Aluminum oxide for rough matte finishe

NO SAND! Like Bud said, glass beads or Al Oxide. Make sure the blaster is completely clean. Any ferrous metals left inside will end up in the surface of your pistol, causing rust.

Ok,thanks! And I meant to say bead-blast. Sand = bad.
