My 45Super loads are Sierra 185 JHP's w/ 11.5 Power Pistol. Flames and "bark" are something to see and hear out of my comped longslide.

Sooner or later I'll play w/ 255 lswc'rs for a Super load. Tracy

Excellent choice of powder...Power Pistol will often get you +P speed without the +P pressure spike...Its does however still have the +P muzzle flash.

Golden Sabres are a pretty good bullets...I've killed deer with them in a 45 acp. They are prone to jacket separation unless you have the bonded version.

I have not used the 185 grain bullets...I prefer the slow, heavy 230's...no matter who makes them.

The 45-08 Armco uses Longshot and I'll try that if I ever get around to 45Super/45-08 loads again. I've got a # now, just haven't had time to do anything with it. Tracy
