which model Rock, Gram?

I saw your thread about disassembly and having a bull barrel.
I really couldn't be much help, cause I've only disassembled one bull barrel gun.
(my bud's Springer Ultra Compact)
I couldn't find the hole in the guide rod to pin it, so I simply field stripped it similar to a CZ pistol.
IE..racked the slide and held it in place at the take down notch then pulled the slide stop out.
donno if that was right or worked, but it worked

is your Rock a compact?
mid-size or full size GI ot tactical?

what mag came with the pistol?
is it a made in Italy ACT (Novak) mag?

I "thought" the Compact had a 3.5" barrel?

if it's a Rock Island, it was made in the Philippines.

The mags are bought from various vendors

did you figure out how to field strip it yet?

And if it is a 3.5" bbl Compact, it never had a barrel bushing, it came from the factory with a bull barrel

my GI

I took my rock out this week end and in honor ofits name shot at rocks on ht eground. It was easy to knock them all over the desert and break them up. I love this gun. I feel very well protected with it.
Good deal guys!!!!:flag:
