An excellent combo.

I like "kickin it old school".
(One of my Rem 40X's)

Highpwr,
When I came back from the first gulf war in 1991 (I was in HHC, 2/504th PIR, 82nd Abn. Div.), that is the exact combo I shot with at Camp Buckner. I learned to do my own reloading: 300 Win Mag: 190grn Sierra Match king bullets, 79.5 grns of H1000, winchester brass, and Fed. match primers. The Marine shooters were using M14s and having a rough time of it at 1000 yards and wind.
I sold it a few years back and I regret it somewhat. However, I now have a DPMS LR 308, 1500 rds of 1969 Lake City Match and 500 rds of Fed. Match!
All the best to you and your shooting.

The one on the left is my coyote gun :)

boyds stock
unertle fixed 12x
timiney trigger

it shoots pretty well with factory ammo out to about 600 yds. Past that the gun is capable but I am not.

the one on the right is our gunsmiths 10/22

I am sure there are more pics out there somewhere. Here is one of me shooting a toy that I am sure needs no introduction.
