Here's the current dog, a Bichon Frise. We've only had him about two months. It's amazing what you can find in the pound sometimes.

He's not very big, but he lets us know if someone starts down our driveway...And that's a lot more than our Rottweiller mix ever did.

My best friend Jake. He was rescued from a life of spending most of his life (6 years) in a travel kennel, found a bullet in his back and we think his tail may have been broken once. He's blossomed into a well socialized, friendly, happy, out going husky/border collie cross. He knows he's got it good!!!! He's also too smart for his owner some days but he loves to please. Probably the most affectionate dog I've ever had.

Wow, he looks a lot like the German Shepard/Husky we had for ten years.
Best dog any of us ever had.
Barry, in the picture I posted above I had just taken some towels out of the dryer and had one folded when the phone range. Needless to say the warm towel proved too much for the two little dead end kids!!!! They fluffed it to suit their needs and proceeded to take a nap on it as well as each other!!!:rofl:
The real Boss of our house

Mau is a Sable Burmese kitten and rules our house with soft paws. We had a Burmese cat for 15 years and had to put her down, the house was very empty. My wife told me two months later, "honey I found another Burmese kitten, however she is in Dallas, Texas" My answer was " well what are you waiting for" "her answer drive me to the airport because my flight leaves in 2 hours and we will be back home the next day" Life at home is good again!!!

Totally missed this one and as pet lover I am glad I caught it. I have had a dog and/or cat for my entire life. The past 3 years I have been dogless but will be getting my second yellow lab this spring. Anyway I have these two to keep my busy. The orange guy is a slug like me and the bengal, well she is the boss.

How can you not LOVE a Lab. Their faces give away everything. Thanks
Great looking pets. Here is an old pic of one of my German Sheps my male Toby

If you look in the background you can see my female Roxy. They are both about 40-50lbs heavier now.
