I'll second the .357sig. I'd rather have a bottleneck cartridge that wouldn't be as punishing as a 10mm.

A commander size would be perfect.

first let me say i'm just trying to understand .357sig as it seems to be about equil to a .40s&w

what dont i get???
here are double taps ballistics for the closest bullet weights i could find
i only compare .357sig to 10mm because they are both in what i consider non popular calibers(meaning not every place that sells ammo will stock it and when you find it you pay for it)

Yep, that sure is a lot of data.

I like the .357sig because it'll get the job done.

I would use it for CCW, and at those (CQB) distances it would perform just fine.

i have no doubt it would get the job done.i was just wondering why anyone would pay more for ammo, deal with less availibility for not much gain??

i love 10mms and .45acp and always look for new exciting calibers, but in dealing with the 10mm and it's ammo availibility issues/cost i once paid [email protected] rounds in a bind in texas.

i've tryed to stick with more readly availible ammo if the balistics match up
but i definatly will say "because i like .357sig"is good enough for me

Just because.

Who needs a reason for wanting a .357 Sig? I like the idea also. I would assume that any 40 cal. 1911 could be changed over to .357 Sig with just a barrel change:thinking:, if you can get a barrel that is.
Just to be odd, I would like to see a 1911 in 41 Action Express:wavey:.

My Sig P229 does fine with 357 sig. But I LOVE my Dan Wesson Razorback in 10mm. But if I was just buying a 10mm again, Fusion would have probably been my first choice.
