Just came back from a local gun show, a friend of mine brought in his old Colt, i "think" it was a 38 super, very slim slide, trigger group, etc, small dark brown colt grips, and on the left side of the bottom of the grip frame was a l" sling swivel, anyone , can you tell me what model Colt this pistol is? thanks, Pictures??

Probably a 1902 Military .38 Auto (not a Super .38 Auto).

No money was exchanged, he just brought it to the show to see what it might be worth, haven't talked to him since, will call him tomorrow and find out what some of the guys said. I saw it, held it, the pistol is like brand new, the bluing is sort of a medium blue/gray color, and over all condition of the pistol is about 98%.
