Hold on to your hats folks... here comes the Obama freight train!
This article at WND asks the question... Is Obama The Messiah? It seems that the sheep have decided so.
If he gets elected, we can gird up for a long battle about gun control and another AWB!

McCain might not be what we want, but surely, this guy is sooooo far left it's scary!

I`m convinced that scary is too darned light to describe what this clown could do. Scared sh..less is more in line with my thoughts.
Thats scary. Of course for me there is no way that I could put the word "Messiah" and Obama together. I can think of other words though however.
I cannot be surprised but this is sickening to a Christian.
Much as I hate to say it I think he might be the next prez.
My prediction is McCain. I'm not prejudiced in anyway, let me clarify that before I say this. However aggravated some are at Bush, I don't think a large part of the southeastern population is ready for a black man to be president, nor are they ready for a woman president. Neither of those facts has any bearing on why I don't like them. I think McCain has enough liberal traits that he might get some of the votes that won't vote for Hitlery or Odama, which will probably get him in Office.
I think you may have something there Brian. Many Americans say they are tolerant and give lip service to equality, but I really would be surprised if a woman, OR a black man gained the office. But, I've been wrong before.

What could the southeastern states do to swing an election though? They normally vote red, as evidenced by the 04 map, so what more could they do? They only have so many electoral votes. Even if they all vote red again that's not really the swinging of any states. It IS the electoral votes that matter.

Here is the 2000 election, that election was as everyone knows very close and the southeast went blue. Them voting republican won't be anything new whether it's against a Man, woman, black, dog or cat.

Hey Jerry, don't burst my optimism, its the only I got going for me with this election. LOL, its my delusions of grandeur that keep me going.
Yea, we need all the hope we can muster this time.
I think McCain is just liberal enough to win some of the blue states.

My biggest concern is that people who don't like McCain will vote third party and Obama will win.

It seems like gun rights are being taken away at the state level. Look what is happening in CA, NY, and IL to name a few.
I think McCain is just liberal enough to win some of the blue states.

Thats what I am thinking, and hoping for.
I hate the "lesser of two evils" thing. But the lesser evil is still better than the greater evil. Even if McCain isn't our first choice, he will be more accessible and open to more conservative influences. And I think we'd have a very tough time of it on many levels with either Obama or Bilery.

I think that we really, really want Obama/Hilery to lose; and it looks like the only way that can happen will be if McCain wins.

yep and as said, I think he has the capability of taking some votes from hitlery or odama
I agree with you frank, I'm just worried the far right will stay home in droves offsetting the moderate vote he may get from the blue states. I only hope he can gain enough ough of the moderate vote keep the possible loss of the conservative vote from being devastating.

I know some say the far right will come out against hillary or obama, but they can actually be pretty fickle if the candidate is not conservative enough.
I truly hope Obama does not win. Anyone who has their hands folded in front of them during the national anthem and whose wife said recently they are finally proud of their country for the first time in their adult life has no business being the president.

You said it! Regardless of poiltics, that kind of behavior for someone wanting to be the POTUS is UNACEPTABLE!
Not only that, I don't want to have to take orders from someone like that. Can you imagine that havoc that would wreak in the military if he was elected?
Messiah I think not, maybe the antichrist. He is scary and our country will suffer greatly if he is elected.
Well thats what I was thinking
