I was at one of the local gun shops yesterday just killin' time, and saw an Ed Brown Kobra Carry sitting in the consignment display. I asked to look at it and immediately fell in love. I have handled and shot a lot of off the rack guns from Kimber, and Springfield, SiG, Taurus, and own a pair of S&W 1911's, but the Ed Brown gun was far and away the best fitted, and finished 1911 I have ever laid eyes on. Now if I only had the $2400 that they want for it...

Yea, I stopped over at the Ed Brown web site this morning, $2400.00 and up for a new one. Not that they can't be found cheaper than that, but then I was never one of tose folks who could snoop out a great deal.

Even impact guns, which is not the cheapest place around, gets 2095. for a new kobra carry. Check out browns website for authorized dealers, you can probably get under 2000 for a new one.

I know a shooter that is looking to sell his Full size Kobra for 2000. He hasn't broken the pistol in yet. It has chainlink on M/H and front straps. I can PM you his number if you are interested.
