I just did a search and found no mention of Norinco 1911A1's.
I had one that I modded and loved it.
My Brother still has his, never a Hickup and pretty accurate.
Here is a pic of the one I had:
I cut the Tangs for the BTGS freehand, no Jig Was my first Modding attempt, came out pretty good, although I would not freehand one again.

I have several that have well over 5k rounds thru them and nary a bump, oh an occasional mag issue, but they only get better. Carry one off and on, give it a rest five days a week, trade out my carrys regularyly, can't go wrong with a norc..

The jig is a great investment, chances are you will use it more than once.

I passed on a good priced norinco, wish I hadn't.

I bought one years ago as my first 1911 and upgraded the trigger, hammer, and sear with Chip McCormick parts. It has been a good gun with probably close to 4K rounds through it, even with a broken ejector leg that I am not sure when it broke. I need to replace it one of these days. :biglaugh:

Other than the ugly finish they have, I think they are very well made.
