How does Clintons executive order regarding Norinco effect current U.S. ownership of Norinco 1911's ?

It doesn't effect one's ownership at all. Just stopped the import of the Norinco line. I have a Norinco 1911 and it is very well put together. They are very popular for those wanting to build a race gun.

Bought a Norinco this week, waiting for it to arrive at local FFL, can't wait to get it to the range. Have to stop looking at the Wilson Combat parts catalog... Financially dangerous

Nothing wrong with Nork's. Bill Wilson said (a long time ago), that they were excellent guns & he liked doing his Wilson upgrades on them.

Yup, just can't import them. If you can find one go for it. I'm still looking here for one to do my first "build" on. (Got other things going on though, so it's not a priority...keeping my eyes open anyway). Tracy
