Hello folks! I'm a proud Kimber owner so I'm postin' over here! Just signed up here, heard about it over at Glocktalk. I like what I see! Thanks for lettin' me be a part of it!

My Kimber is a Custom II. Been a great pistol. In the first 4-500 rounds, had some reliability issues. Got to learn the hard way (but the best way) about extractor tuning/adjusting and shaping/polishing. Learned alot, and it's been great ever since. Got almost 4,000 rnds through it. Was my daily carry for over 2 years, and occasionally still is. I've LIGHTLY throated the barrel, put on Trijicons, ambi safety, walnut grips and grip tape on the front strap. It is now perfect!

Great forum, guys!

Habu, glad to hear you've got your Kimber running good. By adding the ambi safety, does that mean you're a lefty like me?

Thanks for the welcomes!

Nope Primersinmyshoe, not a lefty, sort of a "bothy"! I like to maintaim ambidexterity with all my firearms if possible. Just somethin' i wanted to do. If for any reason I have to carry something on the left side, I want to be prepared and able!
