New sfx with problems

1008 Views 2 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  Jammer Six
Received my sfx pistol several months ago and barely got around to going to the range today. The gun malfunction severely from primer shavings in the firing pin hole and deformed primers from the firing pin hole being to big and allowing the primers to deform and preventing the gun from firing and causing light primer strikes and misfires. I will post images of the spent shell casings, wish I would have taken images of the brass shavings left in the firing pin hole in the slide. The firing pin hole is .077 and firing pin is .065 in diameter, the gun is going back to Wilson combat. Mind you I also have a edc x9 and the firing pin hole in it is .067 in diameter and that shoots well without any malfunctions View attachment 2531

Your pictures didn't come through, but I agree, Wilson will fix it.
