Mine was unthreading last I field stripped it, too. I'd thought about using thread locker but wanted to check to see if it was advisable. My instinct is telling me that there'd be nothing wrong in doing this, as there would be no reason for me to ever want to unthread it, but I'm holding off until I find an answer.
