I reload with 230g LRN and I am switching to 200g LSWC. I am looking for a load that will be light on recoil and still make Major PF in USPSA.

200 grain lswc (dardas bullets)
win wlp primer
win brass (used)
5.2 grains of win 231 powder
oal 1.24

this has been a good load for me pf is good

I use a .200 grain SWC lazercast and 4.5 grains - 4.7 of titegroup and it is my target load
OAL-1.220,used brass

Wow, it takes me 5.5 Gr of 231 to make power plus a little pad for cool days, variance in chronos. I'm running about 865fps with that charge and a 200 Gr LSWC from Missouri Bullet. Currently using Federal primers and an OAL of 1.24 as well. 5" 1911.

We make great hard cast bullets one of our customers uses 4.2 gr.s Clays, Rim Rock .45 ACP 200 gr. SWC Fed. primers, Win. new brass, OAL 1.250. The target he sent shows a 7 shot group at 50 yds which looks like a perfect 3 shot clover leaf.
