Here's a shot of my gsr revo and gsr carry. they are both in the 5.000 range serial number and in fact 10 numbers apart. The holster on the left is an UBG Striker 1 and the right a Mark Garrity Inconspicuous.

Updated pic of the carry.

They look sweet Jerry I have yet to get a carry 1911, I need one lol.
I use a Milt Sparks Summer Holster for mine .
I'm a clip person because I go without a belt most of the time. Otherwise I like the milt sparks holsters. I REALLY like the Garrity holster. It's really light and he does great work. I got in on the UBG when he first started and they were 40.00 each, he does great work also. He's an ex marine.
Looks great Jerry.

You know, I have to admit I was a skeptic when I heard that Sig was coming out with a 1911, because it seems everyone and their grandmother is trying to build one nowadays. But they've done good, I must say. They far exceeded my expectations, at least.
Thanks for posting the holsters. I had not heard about Garrity... he's doing some nice work. I've held off on the SIG 1911's but just read about the Revolution C3... that one may tip it for me. Nice pics.
Garrity does excellent work. I highly recommend him.
The carry looks like this now, the government will at some point.:

what did you do sandblast the frame?
I went to a local guy and had him beadblast it and the msh for 10.00.

I want a beadblaster but that may never happen.
I just recently put a Sig 1911 Platinum Elite on layaway. I was trying to decide between the carry or full size, I went with the full size.
Post some pics when you get it.:)

I know you ment former Marine. No such thing as a EX Marine.

But i got two of his holsters as well. Highly recommended.
I stand corrected, I should have caught that when I posted as I DID know that.
I shot these again today, they are really sweet shooters and no hiccups at all either one.

Thaaat's bloody gorgeous, Jerry. Very techie lookin hammer. What is it?
Thanks and I'm not sure who made the hammer, they came in them. EGW made some of the ignition parts, don't know about the hammer. Good question and I kow they changed when they changed from the "all star" parts list they were using. That's about the only exterior part I can't tell by sight who made it, doesn't look familiar to me.

The trigger and slide stop are greider, the sights true novaks, the grip safety caspian, the bushing egw and george said they made some internals, the thumb safety wilson, the barrel is said to be storm lake (what I have read and by george also). This is the msh that came out of it, not a cheap one at all. The porthole series 80 is a caspian design so I tend ot think they made all of these slides and frames, but there is debate over it.:
