Here is my Colt 1911. I bought it from a friend of mine for $500.00. I could not turn down the deal!! It is pretty worn but the rifling in the barrel is still sharp and crisp. I am getting ready to give it a complete breakdown and an oil bath to clean it up a bit. Have not shot it and probably will not!!! But then again as you well know that is subject to change. If any of you know much about these old work horses please feel free to tell me about mine, good or bad!!!

Very nice Auto... looks like a great piece of history. Boy I sure do wish those old pistols could talk as I am sure that they would have some great stories to tell. Congrats and best of luck with it. By the way you owe your buddy a few dinners.......
