Just picked this up. I have always wanted a hi-power and the price was right. I would have preferred a 9mm but I suppose that just leaves me a reason to buy another :)

I have already done away with the mag disconnect and I have the C&S no bite hammer kit on order.

Well I just went and shot up about 700 rounds :)

300 through the hi-power and I have to say I am not disappointed. It is accurate with nearly no recoil when compared to my other 2 shooters. It did bite me a few times but that is easy enough to fix. I am really liking it and considering a 9mm to go along with it.

On a side note, I lost another grip screw out of my 226 :(
The recoil on the 357 just seems to pop the grip screws out even with locktite. I guess it is time for some small lock washers or something.
