It was just announced that Alaska's governor Sarah Palin will be McCain's pick for the VP. I think this will put Obama's campaign in serious trouble. How many women will now vote for McCain with a female running mate that would have voted for Hilary?

This anouncement gives me some hope. I was getting very depressed at everything I was hearing on the news. Now I see the Dem's shakeing in thier shorts. I,for one,am pleased as punch about this choice. In fact,she's probably the best out of the four. The Dems are running a Communist and a Socialist,while the Republicans now have a borderline Democrat and a true conservative. I'd vote for her if she ran for President.

So far so good! Like some of you said, McCain realized that he needed to gather up more of the conservative vote or they were just going to stay home.

Hopefully people will see that Obama is a socialist and will do the right thing.

The Dems are trying to drag her pregnant teenage daughter (unmarried) into this...they (the Dems) have no backbone at all.

Its none of our business what her daughter does...all we should be concerned with is how Palin will run this country should the need arise. I have checked her out (voting record) and I wish she was the candidate for president...but since she is running for VP, that will have to do...they get my vote.

Good choice McCain...risky, but worth it.
