What weight mainspring does Fusion normally put in if the customer does not specify a particular one?

i think the standard is 18, but they do send a 16.5 and 20 as well when you buy a new gun

Thats recoil springs jrairan. I think standard is something like 23 th a gov, could be wrong. Not sure what bob puts in.

Right; standard is 23, but hardly anybody puts that in anymore. One of those things I should have specified when I ordered, but forgot. Oh well, it is an easy and inexpensive change.

Jedi, not sure what they put in, probably will get an answer here soon but my fusion is so sweet I wouldn't consider changing it. I seriously doubt it is a 23.

Dan Wesson Bobtail uses a officers mainspring in the commander and it is 23 Lbs, it is heavy I switched mine out to 21 LBS. If it is a full size pistol I would recommend 19 Lbs and it will also change your trigger pull lighter if you use light loads, I change my springs to my needs. A carry pistol with hot loads needs a heavier mainspring.

Hi guys,
We use anywhere from 17# to 21# mainsprings. For instance the 10mm 5" pistol would have a 19# where the shorter commander would have a 21# to help control recoil force. It all depends on caliber and slide length. Hope this helps!!

Dale, it was a government frame without slide (I had it made for my Marvel conversion kit).
