hey guys. what type of mags does fusion use? any opinions an their reliability.

The one I got in .45 acp is an ACT mag. It's ok but I don't care for mags with a thick base.

I can't speak for others. I use Wilson and MetalForm mags.

Same for me. Wilson and Metalform work great (9mm, 40S&W, 45SCP). The ACT mags for 45 seem to be good if you like the base. Mecgar is real hit and miss.

For me Mecgar was a really big miss. The one I had and tried fed 2 rounds out of 5. After the first 2 rounds the rest of them were down in the middle of the magazine. The ACT mags have worked great for me. I will probably change the base though, I'm not that big a fan of the huge base they have.

I don't have a fusion, but I did just order 6 new Tripp Research mags. From everything I have heard and seen they are worth the money.

I have not had a good experience with either Tripp or Mecgar 10mm mags although both are OK with 6 or 7 rounds only...the Tripp Research Cobra is supposed to be a 9 round mag and sometimes one can beat 8 into them.

Will do. I have a USPSA comp this weekend and they should be here by then. So I will let everyone know on Sunday how they did.
