I`m curious as to why you need to log in to view more than a couple of threads? I am routinely on the road, and I carry my laptop with me. Often when I stop to eat lunch or check e-mails at the many places I can get wireless from the parking lots, I like to just quickly peruse the site to see what`s going on without logging in. But I can only view a couple threads. Is there a particular reason for this? I`m just wondering!!

Yes, I believe visitors should join if they wish to access the board more than a couple of threads. If you are not logged in there's no way to know if you are a member or a visitor.
