I have the volume 2 Jerry Kuhnhausen shop manual and am wondering if I should get vol. 1 also , or does vol. 2 pretty well cover everything.

It sure seem too. It is really good.

any info would be appreciated.

I have vol 1 and think it`s a great reference. It is full of basic smithing practices, more info than I will probably ever use unless I should decide to become a gunsmith. Also has very good photo illustration. I do plan on getting vol 2 for expanding my reference materials though.

I have both. I don't think you can go wrong with getting Vol #1. Both are chocked full of very valuable info.

I have both and they are both worthwhile. Vol. 1 is more basic but they are definitely both worth having.

I have both and though they both have enormous amounts of info, I find that I get more out of #1. Tracy
