My carry piece. In fact, all the crap I carry on a daily basis. Only changes are the glasses and phone, and now the Kimber resides in a Don Hume JIT slide.
KIMBER SIS CUSTOM RL
This may look like it's out of a magazine but I
done the photography myself. If you look in the
upper right hand corner you'll see a F---Up on
my part, that's the rear of my home..oops
My saying to: With A 1911... You never need 911
Just picked this up off Gunbroker. Series 1 , Classic Gold Match, never fired, safe queen. Maybe replace the cheap grips and Mainspring housing. See how it shoots. These were good shooters originally.http://img19.imageshack.us/i/classicn.jpg/

My first Kimber:
Kimber Warrior with VZ Operator II grips-- only thing that I've changed on this pistol is replacing the 2 piece guide rod with a SS one piece (and springs 18.5lbs). Shoots under 2" groups at 25 yards. I'm very pleased with this pistol-- makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside when I shoot it!
I have two Kimbers; as Drew Carey said "The Price is Right" - the Series I Classic Custom was $500 at Gander Mountain; came with the box, owner's manual, and other factory papers. The other - Tactical Pro II was part of a trade package that I said bye bye to a Browning Hi-Power .40 S&W and a Kahr MK40. I traded those for the Tactical Pro II and a Rock Island 1911A1. I paid $600 for the High Power so I really think I made out ok!
