Here is my Stainless Target II that John Harrison did a few things to it.

He re-fit the slide to the frame, Robar applied way too much polymer coating. As long as he had it I requested the front strap checkered 20 LPI, S&A one peice mag well fitted and blended and the slide stop shortened and counter sunk the frame hole. Yes the grips are UGLY, junk I had sitting in the cabinet, didn't want to send the gun with nice grips on it.

Looks like he did a great job.
I can't afford to have someone work on my Kimbers but I do a pretty good job myself. I have all my insides are from C&S parts, I polish the parts even the ends of the spring plungers. I have had good luck I have never had a jam in over 3000 rounds yet. I also change the springs and the firing pins and extractors to Wilson Bullet proof ones they are larger and after they are buffed a bit, work flawless. I have a Custom shop Gold Combat ll and a Warrior and the same was done to each pistol.
Looking good!!!!:smile::smile:
Very nice Looking Good
No doubt that John Harrison is a good Smith, he done a very clean looking job on your Kimber.
That is a nice looking piece of work. What kind of grips do you normally have on it?
