First off , just wanna say hi . Currently I dont own a 1911 (please dont hold that against me ) but do have plans to own one around the first part of MArch of 08 ( gotta finish gettin all the money together and as tight as my budget is ......) any way saw a reference to this forum over on a nother 1911 forum and being as i'm a guy that likes to keep options open , well, here i am.

Welcome, this forum is informative and a great bunch of folks. I bought my first 1911 last May with the help of a lot folks now located on this forum. I now have multiple Colts and a Sig in the 1911 frame. While they can answer your questions on the care and feeding of the 1911, they can't help with the addiction that follows.
