Any recommendations on holsters for Fusions? I am ordering a bobbed tactical commander and would like a high-end IWB holster to carry. I am a bit worried about the rails on the t-comm being an issue with finding a good holster.

Thanks for any feedback!--Andy

If ou are looking for high end I would look at the custom places and have one made for a railed commander. Mark Garrity is one, I have one of his holsters and love it. I also have an ugly bald guy and he does excellent work. There are lots of custom holster makers that will make something you you will be very proud of.

"high end" sounds like leather. I've quit leather in favor of Kydex for IWB holsters a long time ago. Here in south Florida you might just as well wear a holster made out of a sponge. I'd recommend the Comp-Tac Gurkha or C-T.A.C. for a good quality Kydex IWB.

Thanks again for all of the feedback. I am in North Florida, so the whole "sponge" thing is still somewhat applicable to me. I have never owned a Kydex holster, always choosing fair quality leather. My reasoning? Kydex LOOKS uncomfortable.

I am sure it is not or folks like you would not swear by them. I may give a comp-tac a try. Thanks again. --Andy

I wear my HK P7 daily in a C-Tac IWB.

Even wearing a knit shirt, tucked in, you can't tell I'm packing...

I live in South Florida and use a Milt Sparks Versa Max II in horse hide. The horse hide is supposed to hold up a bit better in the heat. I have a number of these for different guns and in my opinion I have not found a better or more comfortable holster for all day carry.

For what it's worth I've had great experience with Andrews Leather (http://www.andrewsleather.com/). Customer service has been phenomenal and knowing that it's a high quality locally made product means something to me. If you give him a call and let him know what you're trying to fit I know that he can make something for you. Look at the McDaniels, the features that they have are second to none

Update:

I just ordered a Pro IWB from Eric Larsen at H.B.E. Leatherworks. Eric was VERY nice and gave me a bunch of wisdom regarding his lineup of holsters. he went as far as selling me on a less expensive holster than the one I had originally picked. He listened to my needs/circumstances, asked a few questions, and pointed me in the right direction. I'll post pics of the holster lovingly embracing my new Fusion as soon as they both arrive.

On a side note, he spent 5 minutes talking about how beautiful Fusion's are and how he intends to purchase one soon. If anyone is looking for a holster for their new Fusion, you may want to give Eric a buzz.

Update: My holster from Eric at HBE arrived. Beginning to end, Eric was a pleasure to work with. I will be buying more from him in the future. He delivered within his estimated window, charged me only when he cut the leather, and delivered a beautiful product. Now I just need my gun to go with it!
