Hello everybody. New to the board and sort of new to 1911s. I picked up a SA GI Spec back in March and have been loving it ever since then. I also shoot a Ruger GP-100 but that gets a little expensive after awhile. But this is an awesome forum as I have found answers to most of my questions so far.

Howdy from The Triangle (you NC folks know...). Strokin99, I grew up in J-ville (and have gone back many-a-times as a reservist)...usmcmp, I know the MCAS CP area, too. Nice to have some neighbors. I shoot a somewhat customized Springer Mil-Spec, some others, and just bought a Sig GSR Revolution. Man, do I love those 1911s...
