Here's some nice Colts for your viewing pleasure. First, two Series 70 stainless reproductions. The first one is bone-stock except for some Hogue grips. The second one was built by David Helton to my specs:

These two are both early Series 80's. One is a Combat Elite that's close to stock save for some minor tuning. The other one is a Government Model I've had since coming of age, and did some minor mods to. That's the first beavertail grip safety installation I ever attempted BTW, so go easy on me.

Thanks for the compliments. However I'm still kicking myself over the ones I let get away, when I needed money and didn't have the patience to think things through instead. Guns like a 1941 brush-blued M1911A1, 1913 military, and a pre-70 Series that was absolutely mint with the box and papers. :bawling: :bawling: :bawling:

Howdy dsk :wavey: Nice to see you and you pictures on this forum too. Seems I see many of the same guns and people on the 1911 forums. That's OK though because I can't get enough gun porn.:flag:
