Hello, everybody...

My name's Walter, and I just signed on here yesterday.
I saw an invite over on TFL, or THR, I don't remember which,
but I never saw a 1911 forum I didn't like, so here I am.

I live in north Texas, own 3 1911s, carry one of them every day.
It's a Springfield Micro Compact. That ought to start a
controversy right there, because I know a lot of die-hard
1911 lovers HATE the 3 inchers. Some claim they are not even
1911s but some kind of evil hybrid. Hmmm...:biggrin:

One more thing, for those who care, I'm one of uncle sam's misguided
children, vintage of 68 to 70.
