Keith @ DW or anyone who knows........does DW make their own magazines?? Or are they bought from a outside vendor??? The two I got with the Valor look like they are modeled after Wilson's with a CMC follower.

I'm not keith but I have never known of dw making magazines. The last ones I heard (and have with the cbob) are supposedly checkmate mags and they look like you describe, maybe keith will verify that.

Look down their list, mine look like the ones CM45-8-S-RB with the removable base and steel follower.

I looked at mine some more...........they look like original CMC style with removeable base pads.

If they have a DW logo on them they are ours. Otherwise metalform, Novak
(Actmag), or CMC depending on when your gun was made and what model or caliber.

Most of us buy mags from somebody. We don't pay them to put our name on them. Machines and tooling to manufacture mags are very expensive.

makes it sound like you made the ones with the dw emblem on them. It must be a secret then who makes them, I'm guessing checkmate.

Ok guys the ones with removable base plates and DW on the side are definitely checkmate magazines. The patent number on the follower belongs to Thomas Vieweg:
