I have an UBG striker I by Nate and a...man I can't remember who made it. It's an in conspicuous with shark skin trim. Give me a few and I will remember, plus I might find pics. Getting old, it's a Mark Garrity.

Nate has a picture of mine in his gallery, it was an early job of his. It's the one behind the colt in the picture below his and the flip side is a couple down to the left. Don't ask me abut the colt though.

Here are some pictures of the ubg when the pistol was in later stages:

Here's the mark garrity with sharkskin when it was new. (Don't ask me about the 10mm cbob either)

What's up with that Jerry? Nice lookin' pistol though.
I'm using a horsehide carry rig from John Ralston at www.5shotleather.com He makes quality gear that I can recommend.

I sold both of them. I said when I sold the cbob, as I was getting rid of my 10mm's, I was getting one in .45 and I will probably still do that. The colt I had a moment of weakness, sold it and regret it. I am now thinking another of those. Both of them were real sweet.

I use the Govt XSE for my SS gun in USPSA. Several mods though. Wilson Ambi and Beavertail, Schuemann barell, SV trigger, etc.
Shoots like a dream. Ya gotta get another XSE!
Yep, if you notice in the pic's above mine had a bunch of mods. Wilson grip safety and thumb safety, EGW thick carry bevel bushing and thick plug, ed brown gi guide rod and bobtail housing, Greider short trigger and hard chrome job. I did everything escept the hard chrome job myself.

I really like mine pistolero, but I'm not a big fan of hard chrome as you can see.
Here is the XSE stock with Pachmyer grips,

And here is XSE present with all the mods, in ready mode.

Mo betta!

Yep, looks better.

Mine was a lightweight and the frame had to be redone after bobtailing so I went with hard chrome. It makes the alloy tougher than stainless on the surface and I doubt I will ever have an alloy frame finished in anything else. The ramp became tougher and polished up better than stainless. Also, a stainless slide looks bad next to a hard chrome frame so it all got done. If I get another xse lightweight it will absolutely be hard chromed.

If it was a stainless frame I may not have had it done. The bead blasted areas scratched when I looked at them though and it was nice not worrying about it after it was hard chromed. I would have to decide I guess, definitely with a bobtailed ally frame though.
An old feller down in Tennessee mad this rig for my Smith 19.

Thank you for the welcome.

That holster up for auction was actually how I found my way to this site. Eric has it up on his website and references 1911auto.org so I thought I'd pop in and have a look see. :wavey:.
