OK......here's my idea for a custom Baer-

stainless Concept IV frame
Monolith square bottom blued slide
No forward cocking serrations
(though I like them, with the squared slide it looks cool with the smooth sides)
Slide flat topped and serrated, no border
fixed night sights
Counter sunk slide stop pin hole

The end results would be a neat looking handgun and IT's a Baer so what more could I ask for :biglaugh: Of course now all I need is the money to order it

I do like the counter sunk slide stop pin hole. Does that make it harder to get the slide stop out?

Sounds like a good lookin' gun! I'd get one! Another feature I'd add (to go with the custom look of the chamfered slide stop) is to have the barrel crowned and cut flush with the bushing.

I emailed John @ Proload the specs and asked for a price quote

Can't really afford it but the more I think about it the more I want it. I am still reeling from having to sell my TR a couple of weeks ago. Figure it will take 14-16 weeks to get and if the price isn't too bad I might go for it

My dream Baer.........will not happen

John @ Proload said Baer will not put Monolith slides on regular frames. Bummer!!!!!!!!!! Oh well, it was a nice dream while it lasted.
