After leaving the US Army 5th Special Forces, and a 22 1/2 year military carrer, I thought that this old soldier had hung up his spurs for good. Now I find myself, preparing for a long fight. Building up my aersnal, ammo, and field equipment, with an imposing foe, growing in the whie house. We know the new Brady Bill is in the shadows, and an ammo serialization law on the horizon. The recent frenzy in the gun and ammo industry is a remminder of the up in coming battle that lies ahead for all of us. First, the ban of our assualt weapons, then ammo restrictions, and evetualy total gun ban altogether. Don't be fooled boy's, by the curismic back stabbing, Obama and his puppets. There goal is to rid this country of all guns, so they can impose thier will on us. Socialisium is growing rapidly, and a civil war never seen before in time, is just a few years away. There is massive amounts of money & power behind Obama and his followers. It is we the civilian populas who still are patriots and hold our country and constution close to our hearts, that will make this fight one to remember. Look at Hitler and Stalin's rise to power in thier early years, and look at Obama's flight over the past 5 years. Once you look at the big picture the simularities are parrel, and overwelming. I for one not as nimble as I use to be, and dependant on insulin and daily priscriptions just to live a somewhat normal life, will fight this imposing regime to my bitter end. The best of luck to all, our country as we know it, and our freedom in the future. As alway's, keep your powder dry, and GOD BLESS all our troops in far off lands.:flag:

Obama is going to be quite busy clearing his name and getting the economy back on it's feet. I am sure that there will be some shots taken (no pun intended) at our gun freedoms but it is up to us to keep the pressure on.

God bless you,Capttom,and everyone else who feels as strongly as you do. I'm ex-nothin',but I'll stand beside you if the screws are put to me.
We can't let that happen though,boys. We have to take the fight to them,and make it a political fight that they can't avoid. I suspect it will be long hard road to taking up arms,and we must try every option before that.
OTOH, I suspect that if it comes down to it, we are far better armed than the liberals.

Zero, That makes me think of a kid that was posting on a beta forum a few years ago. He was saying the left was going to revolt. I said the right is much better armed than the left, what will they they do attack people with their lava lamps?
Weither you were SF, Airborne, or a Cook, the commaradity never dies. I would be proud
to stand next to any red blooded American, military, civilian, man, woman, or child in the defense of our country, our constution, and our 2nd amendment, against any one trying to take it away from us. Me too...I'm also ex-nothing, but I do have a few "skills" that could be helpful...I agree also that a political fight comes first, but in my opinion...we are doomed to lose that one.

Ist of all, I agree to every ones opinons that a political fight should come 1st, and an armed response should be the last option. The bad news for the 2nd amandment supporters is that we have already have lost this fight. A Democratic "Every Thing", will be in place, and all your emails to Senators & Congressmen will change nothing. The new regime dosn't care what you think, and all feel that we are mindless cattle that need corraling! Our new president elect hails from the country of Africa, and thier forcable will on its people. Sevral tours in this **** hole arm pit of the world taught me that. Boy's, lets look back in our history, with the unfair taxes by the British, which prompted our revolutionary war, and eventual freedom from them. Socialisium fails in the end, but the populas still has to go through the years of tirany, to get to the end of it. I am reminded of what my mother told me after a visit to the once Soviet Union. No one looked up and made eye to eye contact in fear that they would be hauled off by the secret police. No every day gestures of happyness. Just daily fear. Iwill not live in this new world planned for us. My dust, and others like me will be long gone, and thousands of veterans will roll in thier graves, as to the out come of our country as we know it. As you can tell, I am very passoniate about this subject, and I hope that my predictions are unwarranted, and never come to pass. Mean while, I keep my shooting skills perfected, keep my arsenal up, ammo stores up, and my close ties with local folks who will become the only ones who stand bettween "US" & them!!! Actually, I think they will to a certain extent. Many in congress were elected in conservative districts and won't want to get too liberal in hopes of being reelected. They have numbers but not a mandate.
Yep, I visited East Berlin when I was stationed in Germany back in the 80's. Same way.
I flew Cobras in Nam, but since I don't have one here :biggrin:, I'll walk on the ground with ya.
